Student Opportunities

Williams Geosciences majors have many opportunities to widen their experience. They can engage in summer research with faculty; participate in a Keck research project; pursue summer internships on campus or off; attend a geosciences field camp (with financial aid from the department). This is a great opportuity to gain valuable field experience that will help with summer research, employment, and graduate school; or apply for a Lauren Interess Adventure Fellowship. We hold a “Summer Opportunities” dessert gathering each November, where we present ideas and projects for the following summer (see links to faculty powerpoints below). At other times, individual faculty members and our majors are always ready to talk with interested students about their research!
